Spring Themed Birthday Party Celebration
The weather is finally beginning to warm up, and Spring is definitely in the air! With the arrival of Spring comes an array of wonderful new colors that brighten up the day and wash away the dreary grays of winter. What better way to celebrate the new season than with a Spring themed birthday party? At the beginning of the season, we launched our new Spring collection here at Ellie and Piper, and it was so gorgeous putting the items together for this! We have been swooning seeing how our party loving community has been putting these Spring party decorations to use and especially love it for this Spring themed birthday party.
There are so many options to choose from when going with a Spring theme! It’s easy to get overwhelmed with all the pretty things. The hundreds of different florals that are now in bloom or the adorable baby animals that are beginning to peek out of their nests and hollows are the perfect starting point to spark creativity. Our friend and fellow Ellie and Piper party lover, Katherine, was inspired by both when she decided to throw her daughter a Spring themed party that is sure to create lasting memories.
Spring Themed Party Supplies and Decorations
We love the simple white contrasted with pops of pastel that Katherine chose for her tablescape. It has just the right amount of Spring pastel colors without being too much on the eyes. You can get this look by using a white table cover and accenting it with any of our various colored paper plates. Here, Katherine features the happy yellow paper plates that are complemented perfectly with just a touch of glam from our white and gold cutlery set and gold brush stroke cups. Decorating the table for even more color is a centerpiece of pastel gingham carrots in a pink basket and cotton candy bird nests topped with hoppy easter egg candy. You can add a pink fringed cocktail napkin for extra flair and sprinkle carnival confetti to add more glam to top off the tablescape. Of course, no children’s birthday party would be complete without dessert, and the bunny dessert plates are placed and ready for cake time.
At the dessert table, Katherine had an array of beautifully colored flowers. There is nothing that screams Spring more than freshly bloomed flowers! Katherine used various pastel-colored cake stands and plates to add to the Spring essence to display the fun desserts. At our party boutique, we have cake stands in different shapes and sizes to match. For large desserts, the pink melamine cake stand would be spectacular, and for smaller, the white scalloped cake stand would be adorable. You could even place your decorations and flowers on the stands as Katherine did here.
To keep the little party lovers entertained and having fun, Katherine planned a cupcake decorating activity. They were so engaged and enjoyed getting to make their own sweet treat. Having an activity for the children is always a wonderful idea when you are planning a party. They will have so many laughs with their friends and will certainly be the highlight of their day! All children love goodie bags, and Katherine took hers one step further by making treat boxes. The hoppy little party bunnies were absolutely enchanted when they found all the fun goodies inside. There are so many options that the little ones will just delight over for you to include in treat boxes. The jumbo glitter jelly ball would be a blast for the kiddos to play with, and they can give themselves matching friendship temporary tattoos. We love that Katherine also handed out bunny ear headbands!
A balloon garland really can make a huge difference in the aesthetics of your party. Just this one piece can set the tone for your celebration and become the focal point. Our pastel balloon garland provides a beautiful palette of colors to create the perfect frame for pictures. Katherine chose to customize her garland with bundles of Spring blossoms in matching colors between the balloons. The flowers tie in well with the bunny and floral garland draped just below the balloons. Katherine’s daughter and all her friends had a hoppy good time at this adorable Spring themed birthday party.
